FUTO Architecture Final Year Student Drown While Swimming In A River(Otammiri) Located Inside The School(Photos)


 

A Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO final year student has drowned while swimming in a river on Wednesday.


The deceased identified as Kester Gabriel, a 500 level Material and Metallurgical Engineering student, died inside the Otammiri river in Ihiagwa area of the state.


He was said to have returned to school, on Sunday, after his Industrial Training, only to die on Wednesday (yesterday) while swimming.





His body has since been recovered and deposited in a mortuary.


Another painful incident happened in same state, Imo at the Imo State University, IMSU.


It was reported that a female student of the institution stabbed her boyfriend after a heated argument and then committed suicide out of the fear that the man would lose his life.


The man miraculously survived but he is currently in a critical condition at the hospital where he was rushed to.
